Welcome Elizabeth Shumaker as our new Operations Manager!

Elizabeth has joined our Lancaster Engineering team as our new operations manager.

Elizabeth has a multi-layered background which includes managing award-winning architecture and design firms, relationship building while leading non-profit organizations, all bolstered by a strong foundation in the legal profession.

She embraces all things outdoors — hiking, biking, running, camping, and working on a little hobby farm.

Welcome Elizabeth!

Congratulations to Sheryl O’Neil-Nobles on her retirement!

Sheryl was with Lancaster Engineering for over ten years as our Operations Manager. She wore many hats as the OM and she wore them well. We are so happy for Sheryl and will miss her. Thank you for your hard work Sheryl!

Lancaster Sponsored AAUW’s Tech Trek

Lancaster Engineering was excited to be a sponsor of AAUW’s Tech Trek in Central Oregon this year. We provided food, beverages, and prizes for the women’s professional night which includes over 20 women in STEM careers and two hours of 60 girls getting to ask them questions. Melissa and Miranda from our Bend office attended the event and Miranda also hosted two workshops on traffic engineering of roundabouts.

Tech Trek is an annual summer camp that brings in 7th grade girls for a week and helps expose them to STEM. The event is hosted by AAUW and includes classes, workshops, field trips, and more!

We are Hiring!

We are getting ready to post a position (or two if we get the right candidates). We are looking for someone with experience with traffic analysis tools (i.e., Synchro, Vistro) and even better if you have experience in development work writing TIA’s and land-use change documents. The requirements are an EIT or PE, but it does have the opportunity for planning work if desired. We might be considering an intern as well for full or part-time.

The position(s) are available in our Portland or Bend office.
